The reason we're visiting 2K do it first is because they have NBA 2K that appeals to people out of the hardcore games sector and that is the same reason they'll eliminate it. I have seen many that are online are saying they will boycott NBA 2K, it will not really make a difference. The individuals that are buying NBA 2K most likely don't know its going to 2K21 MT become more expensive on next gen and they probably don't care. Most of them do not understand how micro trades that are uncontrolled and egregious are. It's only a matter of time before others do exactly the same. To be clear, I think games should increase their prices, I don't believe NBA 2K ought to be the one. Allow me to know what you guys think!

I would not have had a issue with them raising their costs if the ps5 replicate was backwards compatible with PS4, that is my only issue with the whole thing. It'll be interesting what EA do with their sports games, especially FIFA, as its common. I think that they would receive a whole lot more backlash than 2K when they took a similar course with FIFA. However, I do agree that the games can get away with more. We see that in terms of microtransactions and in-game money. EA tried something similar by restricting free gen updates of Madden towards the end of the year and people were upset. I think they would have been the first to raise their prices had they not gotten so much backlash for micro transactions previously.

2K will get away with it because its 2K. Got ta realize, NBA 2K is one of the franchises which people who do not play with video games and video games, purchase. Many people would buy a console and only purchase 2K for the whole year, and play with with it the whole year until the next version. I think"who must begin raising prices" is a moot argument. It is going to occur, and odds are, they will happen all at one time. 2K is the one. People would be just as crazy if it was the new Assassins Creed game that demonstrated the growth lol.

I don't have an problem doing this. I've friends who really play with sports games and they did not appear to care about the cost change. The Buy NBA 2K21 MT Coins people up in arms about this are hardcore gamers who won't actually touch NBA 2K. I'm also someone who does not care they they are charging for NBA 2K on next gen since I think if you're changing engines or anything major like this it is a brand new game and needs to be paid for again.
