If you're playing a male character, you're going to be fine. Most outfits will be super cheap so that you'll have the ability to make your male character look more or less yet you want. With that said I'd purchase the 30 day premium for 30 days. It provides you with more storage assignment gold pass and a boost. The exp boost stacks with tri boost tickets, concert boosts, alliance boosts and boosts. You are going to level much quicker with premium. I'd say PSO2 is more societal than more and FFXIV. PSO2 lets characters perform way better geared players so there is an incentive to find a good group to clear things fast. I would certainly not call MTX that relies on RNG"by far the most fair MTX system", by a long shot. It caters towards predators. Additionally, seeing as players can sell the things they win via the loot box equal system, it's marginally P2W (but the lack of PvP restricts the impact of that).
