Rocket League is heading into what developer Psyonix calls the game's eighth competitive season, and the team is looking to keep things fresh with the Salty Shores Update. The update has a few key features including a new, beach-themed arena that shares the name of the update, an in-game summer event called Beach Blast, the start of the eighth competitive season, and more.

In addition to the new Salty Shores arena, the Rocket League x Monstercat Vol. 3 playlist will be available in game.
